We do the work that shows what is happening underground — camera inspection, jetting, drain clearing — because that is how real options get put in front of you instead of a guess. What we are not is a handyman shop. Faucet swaps, garbage disposals and running toilets aren't what we're set up for, and we'd rather tell you that up front than send a truck for the wrong job.
You have seen the $59 drain snake special. Here is the arithmetic nobody prints next to it. A truck on your street has to carry $310 an hour: the vehicle, diesel at around six dollars a gallon, liability insurance, workers compensation, payroll taxes, licensing, equipment, healthcare and retirement for the people who work here. That is as high as we ever want a billable hour to go, and we are not interested in hiding it.

So the visit is $89. What it buys is a trained technician and an equipped truck at your property, one thorough diagnosis, and a plan before the hole is open. If we had x-ray vision we would be millionaires; we estimate on the information we are given, and we tell you plainly what we cannot see yet. An unmarked fiber run or an undocumented gas line is nobody’s fault, but somebody has to pay for the hour it costs, and you should know that going in.

Burst water service, sewage backing up into a basement, a gas leak. That is what the overnight line is for, and we will get up at 1am for it. A slow drain or a dripping fixture is real work, but it is daytime work, and treating it as an emergency costs you more than it needs to.
