What we collect when you call, book or browse, what we do with it, and how to change your mind. Last updated 4 September 2026.
DeMonte Contracting LLC, Springdale, Pennsylvania 15144. Call 412-728-1561.
When you book or ask for a quote. Your name, phone number, email if you give one, the service address, and what you have told us about the problem. Our booking form is run by Housecall Pro, so what you type into it goes to them as well as to us.
When you call us. Your phone number and what you tell us. Calls may be recorded or transcribed so we get the details right, including calls answered by our automated assistant outside office hours. Pennsylvania requires everyone on a call to agree to that, so we ask at the start — if you would rather not be recorded, say so and we will continue without it.
When you visit this site. Standard server information such as your IP address and browser, and — only if you accept — cookies used to measure our Google advertising.
Some parts of the page are loaded from other companies, and they see your IP address when your browser fetches them. This happens on page load whether or not you accept cookies, because without them the page would not render: Google Fonts supplies the typefaces, Google Maps supplies the maps on the service-area and town pages, and the Better Business Bureau supplies its accreditation seal. If you would rather not load them at all, a content blocker will stop them and the site still works.
We do not ask for financial information on this site. Financing is arranged directly with Dollar Bank; that application is with them, not with us, and we never hold it.
We run Google Ads, and the Google tag on this site can set cookies that tell us which adverts lead to real enquiries. It starts switched off. Nothing is stored for advertising or measurement until you press Accept on the banner, and if you press Decline the site works exactly the same.
Changed your mind? Clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will come back so you can choose again. In Chrome that is the padlock in the address bar, then Cookies and site data.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser or an extension sends a GPC signal, we treat that as you opting out. The advertising tag stays off, and we do not show you the banner at all — you have already told us, and asking again would just be making you say it twice. GPC overrides an earlier Accept on this device.
If we are doing work for you, we may text you about that job — confirming details, letting you know a technician is on the way. Those are about work you asked us to do. Marketing texts are separate and only go out if you specifically agreed to them, either by ticking the box on the booking form or saying yes when we asked on the phone. You can reply STOP to any of them at any time, and declining does not affect the work.
Only the companies that help us run the business, and only for that purpose:
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. We will hand it over if the law genuinely requires it, and not otherwise.
The site is served over HTTPS and we use suppliers who are set up to handle this kind of information — Housecall Pro for customer records, Cloudflare for hosting. We are a contractor rather than a security company, though, and nobody can promise that information sent over the internet is impossible to intercept. If you would rather not put something in a web form, call us instead.
We link out to Housecall Pro for booking, to Dollar Bank for financing, and to our profiles on Google, Facebook, Instagram, Nextdoor and the Better Business Bureau. Once you are on somebody else's site, their privacy policy applies and ours does not. We do not control what they collect.
We keep information for as long as we need it for the reasons set out above, and no longer, unless the law requires us to keep it for longer. What that means in practice: job records outlive the job, because warranty claims, permits and tax records all do. Records of who agreed to marketing texts are kept precisely because we may have to show the agreement existed.
Call recordings and transcripts are held by our phone assistant provider under their retention settings, not indefinitely by us. If you want your details removed, ask, and we will remove whatever we are not legally required to keep.
Call 412-728-1561 and ask. You can ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or tell us to stop texting you. Depending on where you live you may have a formal right to some of that; we would rather just do it than argue about which law applies.
This is a contractor's website. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
